Big Stack o' Blankets
I finally finished my stack of patchwork blankies for the little ones. They make the perfect shower gift (I know, I got one for my baby shower). Just bring it to the shower and let everyone write their own sentiments on the blocks to make an instant and unique treasure. Or you can write down the baby’s birth stats and a fave quote – Dr. Seuss always comes to mind for me. I love Where The Wild Things Are too butbe forewarned, you might be giving your kid ideas before they figure out how to be WILD on their own.
Make It Yours
Personally I enjoy color mixing in patchwork blankets. I don’t want anything too subtle (thankfully I’m almost never described as subtle) but too crazy and my eyes will ache. Hopefully I’ve found the right mix here. 20 blankets and I like every single one of them (yep, even the pink ones).
Wow! You’ve been busy! These are such great gifts – my principal loves his quilt. Apparently, everyone who has come to see their new son, signs the quilt! I’m asking him to bring me a picture so I can send it to you!
